Alcoholism - history
The Center of Alcohol Studies Library celebrated the 125th anniversary of E. M. Jellinek’s birth with an exhibit by the entrance of the library. It displayed publications, images, clippings, personal recollections, and artifacts related to Jellinek, who started to collect, abstract, and index alcohol literature in 1939 funded by a Carnegie Grant, laying the foundations of the world’s first Alcohol Studies Collection, Center of Alcohol Studies Library.
